IRA Membership Meeting March 8th

The next IRA Membership meeting will be Sunday March 8th at 1pm at "Friends" On Forest Home in Greenfield, WI. The address is 5614 W. Forest Home Ave in Greenfield. Nice little racing bar with a meeting room attached. Easy to get to by taking 894 to 60th St exit, go N a couple lights, make a right on Forest Home and "Friends" is about 2.5 short blocks (just past 58th) on the left.
We sincerely hope that most teams are represented at the membership meeting on Sunday, March 8th. It's been awhile since we last were together and we need to move forward quickly regarding the 2015 season, one that should be extremely interesting. Memberships are due, price discount ends April 1st with no exceptions. We need to discuss whether we should or should not phase in the new WoO approved RR tire compound, the HR15 (and what others are doing). We want to update everyone on what we learned over the 5 nights of All-Star action and the 3 nights of WoO competition in FL. We also want to go over a few rules and procedures as well. We want some feedback as there are a few important issues to get opinions on.
What is interesting is the fact that other groups throughout the country truly do look at what WE do. In looking at how the WoO line up their dash is basically the same criteria as what we do with our redraw for the A-main by taking the heat winners and next fastest x thru qualifying that transfer thru their heats though they individually draw. NSL's format doesn't include a dash but they are lining up their A the same way the WoO line up their dash. All of this is based off our format. Both NSL and Knoxville have adapted our B-main transfer process. Pretty cool that outside groups like the way we do things enough to implement these procedures, and make our two NSL co-sanctioned events easy on everyone in regards to format.
We took four of our staff, including 3 of our safety guys to a dirt track safety conference in Sioux Falls recently. Many of us have a lot to get done and organized prior to opening night, and membership dues are critical in regards to making many of this happen. So PLEASE try and get memberships in either by mail, or purchased at the March 8th meeting.
See ya on the 8th, meeting location is nice and NASCAR race will be on. Please try and join us......
Don't forget that the 8th is Daylight savings also. So don't forget to push those clocks forward.
